In October 2011, Will Stauffer-Norris and Zak Podmore began hiking down from the headwaters of the Green River in Wyoming's Wind River Mountains.  113 days later, they emerged muddy and bearded from the Gulf of California in Mexico after hiking and paddling for over 1,700 miles.

To learn more about the places the river took them--from wilderness canyons, to massive reservoirs, to irrigation canals in Mexico--check out the links to their blog and articles.  There is also a short video of a conference call with officials from the Department of the Interior and the recently released 50-minute documentary about the expedition (see documentary trailer).
